Long time since I have visited our blog ahhhhh

I am going to add this map to our blog so that we can see who all looks at it if anyone. I really don't advertise it much and I really really need to start working on it again. Sister Hugo has taught me the importance of keeping up a blog. I loved looking at theirs and I really really like Katie's. So thanks for the inspiration and here we go again.....

Wow has time slipped by...

We have just had loads of fun between wood cutting with the Fish's and the "boys" to Halloween parties out at Indian Wells. Time has been in fast motion and were not sure where yesterday went even more then last month.

Here are a few Halloween Pictures from our Indian Wells Party - we had so much fun... Kameron & Tracy family came I think this is a new tradition for them LOL, Jessica, James, J.J., Jesse, Linda, and Alex all came.

We had the trunk er treat, some of us decorated our trunks - well most of us did; then we played games, and of course we ate.... YUMMY

We had so much candy left that we are filling another box for our solider son - Aaron and I am sure he will be sharing with all the folks in Afghanistan.

Everyone is doing super as far as our kids and grandkids - we are preparing for Thanksgiving and then on to Christmas, wow Christmas 2010.... Can you believe it?

Cheech

Lizzie took this picture of Cheech - Oh and since this is her daddy's turtle she said its actually hers since its her daddy's. Funny funny girl - Hey Lizzie you forgot Cheech..

Travel Time

We arrived at the Phx airport checked our Lizzie luggage which I'd say is at least 20Lbs heavier ha ha ha, then we headed to our gate but along the way we rode the escalator and the walking strips a 100 times :-), got a chocolate chocolate latte drink (Yep without coffee) and settled in to wait for our plane. Liz was in a mellow, sad, happy mood she was so excited to see her mommy, Nannie & pa pa and just couldn't wait to snuggle with lucky dog; but ohhhhh she didn't want to leave Arizona - very hard day to not just call Nikki and say can I please have one more week? but I knew that Nikki could hardly wait one more day for this amazing, smart, beautiful, crazy, loving, happy (get my point) sweet brown eyed, brown hair daughter of god..

Well on the plane we had to try out the bathroom at least twice and we had our ice water, ginger ale, snacks watched a movie and played Liz Dora on her D.S.

We arrived in Pittsburgh and Nikki was there waiting at our gate - Liz saw her mom and instantly all her sadness of leaving the "boys" was gone she lit up the entire place.

I had about an two hours before my plane returned back to Arizona so we went to baggage picked up Liz bag in which she wheeled out to the car. We came back in and had lunch and then they walked me to security.

Lizzie said grandma are you going to cry? I could see the tears welled up in her eyes and I said yep I am going to cry all the way back to Arizona. I love this precious little girl and her mom Nikki - I am so grateful for Nikki letting us share this wonderful month with Lizzie here in Arizona along with all the precious memories that we now have.

So the drive home is nothing to talk about - lots of tears and sniffles.

The long road home....

Well the Arizona summer fun began to wrap up or in other wards the purchased plane ticket return date to Pittsburgh arrived :-(

We headed to Phoenix -- this was a super duper emotional day for all of us - as we said our goodbyes yep we even went to Denny's were Aunt Jessica gave Liz rootbeer and chocolate M&M's we headed out of town.... ummm about Christopher Creek Elizabeth decided that she "needed to go back home so she could hug the boys" and stay for a few more days. I asked her what about mommy and she said well she can just move next door but I really like my house but and then she was just crying those big crocodile tears did me in as if I needed any help to begin with. Liz grabbed her daddy doll, blankie covered her head and was sobbing into the daddy doll, I miss my daddy, I want to go back to grammie house, I miss my mommy and lucky dog. Then she snoozed for a little while.

We arrived in Phoenix our first stop is go go and meet Uncle Steven (who hasn't seen Liz since she was born) and Aunt Felicia. Elizabeth was a little nervous until I told her that they had 2 beautiful dogs named Red and Tuck (this little one just loves animals and it doesn't matter if they are dogs, cats, turtles, horses, goats you name it and she will have them following her and of course they will all have a name LOL..

Elizabeth asked me is Aunt Felicia pretty and I said Oh yes she is and then she asked well is Uncle Steven pretty ha ha ha.

We had a wonderful visit.....

Then we headed to our motel and Lizzie was on a picture mission she took ummm over 1000 pictures before the end of the day.. I was able to save a few of um..

We took our bath, went and got ice for our ice water that we thought we needed to rinse before we should drink it and got some sleep....
