Play Doh

I was visiting with J.J. yesterday on the phone and he patiently explained to me how to make play doh. J.J. said grandma you put flour the white kind in a pan on the stove then you add some warm water then add the colored juice (giggled to my self here)...

These grandkids sure keep me smiling...

Web - love it!!

I am so thankful for technology and the chance to web cam with our distant grandchildren, Elizabeth, Rhyen, Baylee & Jessica.

Just finished web cam with Elizabeth and we had a wonderful dinner together (well she had yummy enchiladas and I ate some gold fish). We played hide - n - seek, counted, sang it was just wonderful.

When we web cam with Baylee she showed us that she could dance (with chocolate all over her face - she was helping her mom make brownies) and we got to watch Jessica crawl that was so cool!

Web cam with Rhyen and we got an amazing tour of her new house in Concord and watched Rhyen do some tricks - just love and miss all of these grandkids!

We just returned from Cortez, Colorado

Howdy! We just returned from Cortez where we helped the "Ramirez Twins" James & Jesse celebrate their 5th birthday and watched James soccer tournament.

Both celebrations were just fun.... The twins had a birthday party and J.J. just loved all of the balloons in fact he was one of the main decorators. Once Jesse warmed up to the balloons which was a mile stone he was trying to blow one of them up and said grandma I don't have enough gas to blow up the balloon - after a couple of giggles we stretched the balloon out and J.J. took over blowing up the balloons for his brother Jesse.

James did an outstanding job playing soccer he is just a little athlete - scored many goals-passed the ball (which is cool since he is kinda a ball hog lol) just did a super job. The tournament was up at Ft.Lewis college in Durango Colorado and it is located in an amazing location just surrounded by the mountains.

Update On Grandma Mary

Latest update on Grandma Mary-Baker
We went down to her oncologist appointment and he confirmed yes she does have stage IV lung cancer with 8 nodules from her trachea, lungs and one spot on grandmas liver.
Well as you all know Grandma she doesn't sit still long and with in day or two we were sitting at the surgery center so that they could place a port under her skin of her left upper chest area. This is where she will receive her chemo and have blood drawn from. Grandma came thru the surgery without a hitch.

I came home and it was one of the hardest drives I had - but I know with the Saviors help and guidance we can get thru this.

Chemo day came and went without too much complications in fact when they got home Grandma & Grandpa went out for mexican food. Much much much relief.

We love you..
